So I have been asked to make earrings for a friend's wedding!
We were friends as children, until we were in our teens, and I moved away to another state. She was one of the best friends I've had in my life, and I was so happy we found each other again.
She is wearing stargazer or easter lilies in her hair, and wants earrings to compliment the look. Something shimmery or sparkle-y(another fake word?) but not long or dangley(I gotta start using a thesaurus or something).
Now I just need to come up with a design. This is going to be hard. I have a feeling I'll be doing several different designs befoer I'm happy with one.
I'm just so honored that she asked me! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Even if this jewelry making never makes me any money, at least I will always have the memory that a cherished friend trusted me enough to design her wedding jewelry. That is enough to make me consider myself a success at this.
